About Me:

Hello, My name is Peta Bright and I'm a photographer based in Northamptonshire, England.

Dependable and creative professional photographer with over two years of experience in product, portrait, and event photography. My extensive portfolio showcases my ability to bring clients' visions to life through dynamic techniques and post-production skills. I excel in managing studios, setting up and maintaining equipment, and working with diverse clients. Currently, I am the photography assistant and retoucher at Holland and Barrett, where I assist with photoshoots and lead our in house retouching. Previously, I was a Temporary Photo Editor at Ede and Ravenscroft, consistently exceeding targets. As a freelance photographer, I planned and executed numerous shoots, applying digital styling techniques for optimal results. Outside of work I develop my skills further with my own personal photographic projects which I use to try out new techniques and strengthen my existing skills. I am eager to bring my passion for photography and creativity to a new, exciting role.

Photography assistant and retoucher​

  • Delivered retouching services aligned with company briefs, utilising Adobe Creative Suite to ensure high-quality digital assets for distribution.

  • Developed and implemented new presets and actions within Adobe Creative Suite, improving editing efficiency while adhering to established company standards.

  • Actively participated in weekly meetings to stay informed about ongoing creative projects and contribute innovative ideas for future campaigns.

  • Contributed to the development of creative briefs by generating initial concepts, producing mock-ups, and ensuring all design work aligned with brand guidelines.

  • Provided support to photographers and videographers in the studio, creating visual content for digital screens, posters, social media, websites, and other marketing platforms.

  • Managed administrative tasks, ensuring prompt responses to all requests and overseeing the timely updating of product imagery on the company website.

  • Oversaw retouching projects using management tools such as Monday.com and Excel to keep workflows organised and on track, enabling clear and accurate progress updates. Additionally, I developed and managed a quality control system to ensure consistency and high standards across all final images.

  • Led independent photoshoots when the team was at full capacity, overseeing all aspects of the production process, from concept development to execution, ensuring high-quality results in line with brand standards.
